HEAVY DUTY CLEANER / DEGREASER

DESCRIPTION:

Solvit is a heavy duty, non-caustic degreaser formulated for the removal of mineral oils and grease.
Solvit is water rinsable and may be diluted with water for economy. Approved to MAF C31 Classification.

APPLICATIONS:

Concrete cleaning
Workshop maintenance cleaning
Vinyl cleaning (upholstery and floor)
Removal of metalised (acrylic) polishes
Fleet washing (heavy duty)
Steam cleaning and water blasting

PROPERTIES:

Appearance: Clear red liquid
Specific Gravity @ 20°C: 1.040 - 1.045
Flash Point: Non-flammable

METHOD OF USE:

1. Heavy Duty: For heavily soiled and porous surfaces best used undiluted. Apply to surface, scrub in and allow to dwell for ten to fifteen minutes. Hose or wipe off.

2. Normal Duty: Dilute with water and use as above. Dilution rates vary according to nature and degree of soil, but as a guide use one part of Solvit to nine parts of water (10% v/v).

3. Steam Cleaning and Water Blasting: Vary according to nature and degree of soil but as a guide use at 1-5%.

PRECAUTIONS:

Do not apply to paint work in direct sunlight or allow to dry on surface. With water-based or porous paints, spot-check on a non-critical area.

Avoid excessive skin contact as drying of the skin may result. Wash eye splashes with water immediately.
